Ready to get away? So are we! We are excited to start up our Runner’s Travel Guide again after a year hiatus. This time we are kicking things off with our Runner’s Guide to Miami. Some of our team recently had a chance to travel to Miami and these were some of our very favorite places we visited during our trip. Have more Miami recommendations? Drop them in the comments below.
Where to run:
Art District - Running through the Art District is like running through an outdoor art museum. It's a great way to pass the miles, see some sites, and get some cool mural pics along the way.
South Beach - South beach has a great beach front path that runs about 5 miles. It provides a great place to run with views of the ocean, Art Deco architecture, and spectacular people watching.
Where to eat:
Little Hen - Plan your post long-run brunch at Little Hen. It's easily one of the most photogenic restaurants in Miami with floral decor and mid-century modern furniture. The fare is absolutely phenomenal with a variety of runner friendly egg dishes along side sinfully rich pancakes and crepes. They also have a great selection of lattes and
Salumeria 104 - Everything about Salumeria 104 is memorable from the service to the amazing charcuterie and pasta. This was our favorite restaurant in Midtown and we wished we could bring back some of the meat selections back with us to continue to enjoy.
Where to shop:
Whether you forgot essential running gear or need to pick up some nutrition for your long run these local running stores are great spots to learn more about local running routes or even find a group run to meet up with while you're visiting.
Where to Stay
Midtown - Midtown offers a great location to access the Art District and excellent restaurants but requires a car to get to South Beach.
South Beach - If you're looking for a true Miami Beach vacation South Beach offers all the Art Deco you can handle, some great hotels, and an excellent beach.

Elite Ultra Light Mini Crew (Tie Dye) - This one might seem counterintuitive but a high sock can help keep sand from sneaking in your shoe.
Would love to have you profile Pittsburgh, PA like Miami. We are a dynamic running city with many trails for running and cycling.
