As two of the most talented and dedicated ultrarunners in the world, Katie and Germain have inspired countless athletes with their impressive accomplishments and unwavering commitment to their sport. They embody the values of hard work, perseverance, and a relentless pursuit to achieve their personal best — values that closely align with our mission at Feetures.
Katie Schide has built a reputation as one of the top female ultrarunners in the world, with her most notable victory at the 2022 Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB), the world’s most prestigious trail race. US-born but currently residing in France, Katie’s love for trail running developed during her summers working in mountain huts in New Hampshire and has since taken her to the summits of the Alps and jungles of Costa Rica. She continues to push herself to new heights every day.
Germain Grangier is an accomplished French alpine athlete, with a long list of accolades in some of the toughest races on the planet including 2 top 10 finishes (5th & 9th) at UTMB, wins at the MaxiRace and the 160km at Val d’Aran by UTMB, and a podium at the 90km du Mont Blanc. In addition to ultrarunning, Germain is an all-around mountain athlete and competes in ski mountaineering races in the winter and enjoys slower days climbing on the ridges around his home in France's Maritime Alps. He is known for his strength and endurance, and he’s a beloved and admired figure in the ultrarunning community.
