Father's Day Gift Guide

Father's Day Gift Guide

Last month, my 1-year-old daughter did something she’d never done before – grabbed my hand and walked with me from the car to the front door – an instant Top 5 fatherhood moment since I became a dad last April. I couldn’t wait to share the news with my wife and wax poetic about that unforgettable short 15-step stroll the two of us took together. Of course by the time we reached the front door, the unmistakable stench of a dirty diaper (hers, not mine) filled the air but even that couldn’t ruin the moment. I guess what I’m trying to say is sometimes the best presents aren’t the ones that fit neatly inside drawers or closets or gift boxes.

But “Unforgettable Moments that Stand the Test of Time” is a mouthful of an answer when your loved one asks you “What do you want for Father’s Day?”! So, whether you’re a dad who needs some good ideas on how to answer that question or you’re trying to think about what to get for that active dad or dad-like figure in your life, here’s some thoughtful ideas and gift recommendations from brands we love here at Feetures:

  • Upcoming Race Entry Fee: So dad’s been talking about entering into that neighborhood 5K so he can prove that he’s the fastest on the street? Or perhaps it’s fulfilling that bucket list item and running a half marathon? Help him get there by covering the entry fee. And you know what goes great with a race entry fee, right? Read on…
  • Feetures Mini Crews: You didn’t think we were going to have a list of presents and not include America’s #1 running sock, did you? The Elite Mini Crews are my current go-to socks, whether it’s for a run on my favorite urban trail, kicking my buddy and fellow dad Jeremy’s butt in pickleball, or for a weekend hike with my daughter strapped to my chest. I really dig the various designs our team came up with for these, making these socks the perfect balance of comfort, function, and style.
  • Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22: Before buying your dad’s next running shoe, first make sure you have the right size and know what type of shoe he’s currently racking up his miles in. For me, that’s been the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22. Since buying my pair earlier in the spring, these have been a mainstay for my everyday runs thanks to the support they provide and comfort they deliver. These shoes + a few pairs of Feetures is a winning combination for any dad.
  • Feetures Golf Socks + Bad Birdie Polo: To put it mildly, yours truly isn’t winning any golf tournaments anytime soon, so the least I could do for myself when I’m out on the course is to be comfortable and try to look like a decent golfer. That usually includes wearing my Elite Golf Max Cushion No Show Tabs along with a Bad Birdie Golf Polo. Bad Birdie is known for their dynamic designs, but I also love that they have 4-way stretch and anti-odor technology. Plus, they’re wrinkle-resistant. We have a wide selection of men's golf socks so you can find one that works for you!
  • Vuori Kore Short: Our CMO, Joe, can’t get enough of his Vuori Kore Short because of its comfortable liner and versatile style. They’ll generally fall just above the knee and are a great short for any sport. A great addition for a dad looking to step up their style.
  • Theragun Mini: So after all the running and golf and pickleball is done, there’s a good chance dad’s going to be feeling some soreness. I’ve gotten great use out of the Theragun Mini my wife bought me for my birthday. It’s ultra-portable and easy to use so a great tool to relieve aches and pains and improve recovery.

So this Father’s Day, celebrate Dad’s sense of style, sense of sport, and sense of adventure. And whether you buy something from the above list or not, give him a call or a hug and let him know he deserves nothing but the best.

Happy Father’s Day from the Feetures Family!
