Two continents. Two very different courses. Two amazing displays of movement, perseverance, and endurance.
The ultramarathon and trail running worlds witnessed an incredible weekend as Feetures partners Germain Grangier and Katie Schide showcased why they’re two of the best in the world at the 90km du Mont-Blanc and Western States 100-Mile Run, respectively.
Set against the beauty of the Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley, Germain took first place, conquering the mountainous terrain and the competitive field in what is recognized as one of the most technical trail races in France.
Approximately 6,000 miles away the next day, Katie hit the trail in Olympic Valley, California finding the finish line in second place, 16 hours and 43 minutes later. Katie’s time was the second fastest women’s time in the history of the race.
